About the Captain & Our Equipment
I've been fishing Lake Michigan for over 35 years of which, I've been a U.S Coast Guard Licensed Charter Captain for over 25 years. I've also worked with the U.S Fish and Game Dept, taking part in their collection of fish for there studies. Fishing Season for Lake Michigan is from May 1st through November 15th.

The Boat you will spend your day on is a 31 foot Fiberglass Bertrum Sport fishermen. It boasts a power package of two inboard Chevy Big Blocks 454's with an average cruise speed of 22-24 knots, which will ensure you get to the "Hot Spots" as quick as possible to provide optimal fishing time. There are washroom facilities on board the boat that are available for your use.



All equipment needed is furnished by the captain which includes:

  • Electric Penn downriggers
  • Fish Finder Loworance Color
  • Video with G.P.S.
  • Coolers with ice for catch
  • Plainer Boards for surface fishing
  • Wire Lines for dragging bottom
  • Marine Radio to keep in contact with other fishing boats
  • Wide variety of tackle to stay up with the continuing changing conditions through out the day
